A. There are many opportunities to serve Jesus through Celebration Church. Missions and local outreach are great ways to get involved with hands on serving, especially in meeting the needs of those in less fortunate situations.Simply fill out the mission application and we will contact you about your involvement.
Q.What are the requirements for being involved?
A. A willing heart and a helping hand! There are no direct requirements for serving communities both locally and/or internationally. God has called us all to reach out to those in need and only requires our participation!
Q.Do I have to be a member of Celebration Church to go on a short-term mission trip?
A. We do prefer Celebration members, but we do not require it to participate. Note: Trips that have limited space will be given to Celebration Church members first.
Q. Do I need a passport for a short term mission trip?
A. Yes every trip outside of the U.S. will require a passport which takes anywhere from 6-12 weeks to obtain. We have all the resources necessary to guide you through the steps of getting your passport.
Q. How much are the trips?
A. Unfortunately do to the time of the year, gas prices and other changing factors we can't give an exact amount until we establish the full team and arrange the purchase of airline tickets. We can give you an estimated amount for any trip you are interested in but prices will be subject to change.
Q. How do I pay for a mission trip?
A. We recommend sending out support letters to friends and relatives to raise funds. We have many different sample letters that will guide you in this process as well as other forms of fund raising.
Q. Are these trips dangerous?
A. We are very cautious in our choices of trips. We would never put anyone of our church members in direct danger. We take all procautions in creating a safe enviroment, but we will be in other countries that don't have the same safety standards we have in the U.S.
